GREETING AND MEETING IN NEPAL:

  2. "NAMASTE GREETING ": This is where  the palms are brought together at the chest level with a slight bow of the head 
  3. When entering a business meeting, always greet the most senior person first. 
  4. When exchanging business cards, make sure to receive the card with your right hand and put it away respectfully. 
  5. Small talk at the beginning of a business meeting is common and could include questions about your family. 
  6. The suffix Ji is commonly used especially when addressing someone senior both in age and in rank.
  7. Women in the workplace are often addressed as Madam and men as Sir.
