1	Residual soils are those soils that remains at the place of their formation as a result of the weathering of the parent rocks.	The weathered pieces of rocks that have been carried by several agencies like wind and water and finally breaks into further small pieces to settle down is called transported soil.
2	It doesnot involve movements of Soil particles.	It involves the transportation of soil particles from one place to another place.
3	It is generally formed by static process.i.e,weathering process.	It is generally formed by dynamic process.i.e, weathering followed by transportation.
4	The depth of residual soils depends primarily on the climatic condition and time of exposure. The depth is not generally considerable.	Many of t....
